If there is one fact about my Ella it’s that the child lovesssss to Dance! Seriously we can be anywhere and she hears music she starts so Dance and Grove to it! Sometimes she gets so into it that she will close her eyes and sway back and forth slowly. It’s the sweetest thing, almost as if the music takes over her. I love it! Trust me as soon as I can get her into dance I am!
Yesterday Daniel and I went to Best buy to buy a camera.... while waiting on Daniel to check out Ella heard some music coming from somewhere in the store. She starting bopping her head up and down, so I told Daniel I was going to take her to "find" the music while he was busy... Well I thought it was pretty funny how she was just dancing away in Best buy. So I recorded it.... Hope it puts a smile on your face as it did mine.
Oh and sorry but it will break your neck to watch it....

Take a deep breath...
If you don't want to hear a little complaint than don't read this blog...but it’s just the mood I'm in. Ella woke up this morning with goopy eyes, and was super crabby. If there is one thing I have learned in my short 17 months of being a Mommy it’s that when my Ella wakes up really crabby it’s time to call the doctor. So I did. Well my sweet baby girl has got PINK EYE in both eyes, and another ear infection! I mean where did she even get Pink Eye from??? I really could just cry...I feel like the child can't catch a break. On the bright side her burn is looking GREAT. Her face almost looks like nothing ever even happened. Her arm is getting there. It’s amazing how quickly children heal. Here’s some pictures of how her arm, and how fast its changed in just a week.

Next year I just think we'll go to Florida...
Daniel and I had the idea that this year we weren’t going to take a “Family Vacation”. Pretty much due to the fact that are little darling rang up quite a few hospital/ambulance rides at the begging of the year. So we decided we were just going to have a “Staycation” Daniel already had the time off work, so he kept it. The idea of the week was to go to my Mom’s pool and have lots of fun and relaxing! Well…. What do I always say…? We have to do things the “Weathers Way Baby!” The week started off rough to begin with. We took Ella out to my Mom’s pool Wednesday and Daniel and I got soooooo sun burnt we couldn’t stand to go back out there another day the whole week. We spent the next few days rubbing Aloe Vera on each other! LOL. We did get to see some family that we hadn’t got to in a long time, and that was REALLY nice. Ella got to play with her cousins that live in North Carolina.
We topped off the end of the Staycation with a Mommy Daddy night Sunday night. My sweet Mom offered to keep Ella for us. We took full advantage and went and had a Awesome dinner. Sadly the fun came to an abrupt end Monday morning when my Mom called me. All I could here was Ella Screaming and my Mom was telling me that Daniel and I needed to get to her house now! Well as any parent we were in the car in less than seconds, and a normal 20 minute drive to my Moms took 6! Ella had pulled my Moms curling Iron off the counter onto herself while my Mom was standing right there. They were playing and Ella’s hand knocked the cord which pulled the iron onto her arm. Ugh! As you can imagine Daniel and I ran in the house swept Ella up and drove 100 miles an hour to Floyd Emergency room. Let me just say I have one tough little gal! She’s so amazing how strong she is…Sometimes I think she’s stronger than me! Well the doctors looked at Ella and said there was not much they could do for the face burn but that they would treat and wrap her arm. They gave her some meds for the pain and we are taking her to the Doctor again first thing in the morning. I’m thankful to the good Lord above that it wasn’t worse. Now the prayer just is that is doesn’t scar. Like always thought we had to go out with a bang! So our staycation is now ending, and I decided next year I think we’ll just go to Florida! Here are some pics of Ella's latest batter scars!

Having a toddler will humble you....
Having a toddler will humble you! Ugh… Being a parent is so hard. Don’t get me wrong I know that nobody ever said it was easy, and I know that my child is only 16 months so I’m not in even close to the thick of it! I’m that person that can’t stand when people’s kids are out of control in the store or in a restaurant. Now I have sympathy for those parents because that’s my kid! LOL. Here lately Ella has starting throwing these temper tantrums! I mean full blown clinched her fists up and screams when she doesn't get her way. I know that when kids are her age they act on impulse and are learning. The first time she did this I’m pretty sure I stood there for about 5 minutes with my mouth on the floor! How do you tech a 16 month old not to do something like that? I’m afraid to pop her…because I’m afraid that will teach her to hit! Oh my sweet little baby is so strong willed, and has been sense the day she was born. It’s frustrating now, but I have no doubts that it will serve her well when she’s older!

Water Baby
Whew...this last week was a doozy. Daniel went to work last Monday the 25th and hasn't had a day off until today. Poor guy worked 7 days straight and clocked 35 hours of OVER TIME! The only good thing that came out of all that was Ella and I got to spend a lot of One on One time together with no Daddy to steal her from me. LOL. I've really found that I have never enjoyed something so much as I do watching Ella grow and learn, and MOST of all have fun and giggle. If you can be around a giggling toddler and it not make you smile than something is just wrong with you! I learned recently that Ella LOVES water. Which is so funny to me considering she was about 8 months old before we could get threw a bath without her screaming bloody murder! On one of our long days last week I Decided to pull out the baby pool and see what she thought...needless to day two hours later I had to drag her out of it and give her a bath! Here's some adorable pictures.
Look at that smile! That's what I'm talking about!!
Happy that her Daddy got to come by and see her!

Easter
Easter is a time of miracles so it's a great time to tell you what a miracle you are...God's gift to us! You bring so much Joy and beauty into our family.
Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!
II Corinthians 9:15
The simple pleasure of watching you today, with your Easter basket and you adorable dress on just warmed my heart! I remember how small you were this time just a year ago. It amazes me how much you grown and learned over the past year! I'm so blessed to have a daughter like you who gives me so many reasons to smile. Being a Mom completely changes how you look at things, and situations in life. With it being Easter this past Sunday the movie The Passion of the Christ had been playing on TV over and over. So I finally decided to record it and watch it early Easter Sunday morning. Wow.... that's all I can say. I've seen the movie before, and we all know the story of Jesus dieing on the cross for our sins. Something was so different to me this year as I watched the movie... I realized what a sacrifice Jesus really did make for us. Watching the scene where Mary runs to his side just brings up all this emotion in me. I know how much I love my little Ella and I could not even begin to imagine something like that happening to her. Wow what a sacrifice he made for us! It's awful to watch them nail him to the cross....but I got to thinking. I do that everyday with the sins I commit. I'm a sinner, and this is the price that Jesus paid for Me so I could ask for forgiveness and be forgiven!

Gobsmacked
God gives us lessons in everything right? I believe God has given me a big lesson over the past 3 months. With all the sickness we’ve been dealing with, from Ella being in and out of Doctors offices and Hospitals it’s really gave me a heavy heart… When we were at Floyd Pediatrics floor for two days with Ella there were LOTS of REALLY sick children there. Children that had been there for weeks if not longer. I knew Daniel and I were exhausted from a long night of no sleep and being in an uncomfortable room. These Parents were beyond anything I was feeling. They were living it EVERDAY with no relief! I felt like what we were going through with Ella was awful, but watching these kids who were REALLY sick just made me realize how truly blessed Daniel and I really were. Don’t get me wrong I realize Ella was sick, but these kids some of them seemed chronically ill. My first thought when we had to go to Children’s in Atlanta was “WHY GOD? WHY us again”! Now looking back on it all I can think to tell myself if Wahhhhl! At least my child will be going home with me. I guess what really got me thinking about this again was Daniel coming home Monday night and telling me about this family he had dealt with that had a chronically ill child in the home that was living on a respirator, and had to have a 24 hour nurse there to take care of him. I mean I could not even imagine how you deal with something like that, and how you keep from letting yourself feel bitter and mad at God. I felt angry and frustrated over two little ordeals, and some people live this EVERYDAY and it’s never-ending! How often in life do we have pity on ourselves instead of trying to find the lesson in what it is God is doing? I’m guilty of it all the time. Well I found this lesson… and I’m hanging on to it!
By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures."
